Sweet is there any routing tips since oil sender is close to headers. Solder all wiring terminals, and heat shrink them. Solderless hooks should be outlawed, IMO. Keep the wires a couple of inches away from the headers.
It's best to route them along with the rest of the engine wiring gauge if possible, so that whoever temp, fauge someone else will have just one path to follow.
How to install an oil temperature gauge
Wrap or include them in convoluted tubing or spiral loom to protect teml from oil and gauge. Make sure you leave a little slack to accomodate any engine movement from torqueand you should be good to go.

Run wire from the temperature gauge to the ignition switch. Install an eyelet terminal on the end of the wire and press it with the pliers tightly.
